Walls in the Atelier Myszkowski gallery were lined with panels upholstered with TARA in several subdued colours. The panels formed a background for Victor Cavazzioni’s illustrations in TARA-upholstered frames. A man in a specific place – a hotel apartment, coffee shop, house or airport – was the main theme represented in the illustrations. In each of them, one could find an element of Sempé's design which, combined with the frame and panels, contributed to a cohesive 3D effect.
They’ve become part of our daily lives. We wear them like an unavoidable accessory. Out of legal obligation, but more out of respect for others, because the pandemic has taught us new ways of being together. And most of all, it has taught us what counts, what we have to appreciate and defend. This consideration has given rise to PROTECT AND RESPECT! an Alcantara initiative supporting the Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI Secolo (National Museum of Art of the XXIst Century) involving 4 artists - Andrea Anastasio, Gentucca Bini, Elena Salmistraro and Sissi - called upon to design filtering face masks in Alcantara®, whose proceeds are designated to cultural projects of the museum, gravely affected by the closure during the months of obligatory quarantine.
Piuma is a light, nearly transparent net curtain fabric. Delicate, very soft and smooth, it is made using 100% polyester fibres. Piuma’s 330 cm height makes it a perfect choice for decorations even in very high interiors.
The fabric’s colour palette includes 13 basic colours: various shades of white, ivory and very light grey. Due to its lightness, softness and smoothness, Piuma will go very well with thick curtains, including other velvet decorative fabrics, e.g. those from the Spring collection.
