From the 9th to 11th of April, Zamek Culture Centre will play host to the 3rd edition of Non-Congress of Cultural Animators – an event initiating talks between animators and local authorities. The aim of the debate is to exchange experience, promote cultural-social education and discuss vivid, local culture at hand and its potential to establish social bonds.
We have supported the Non-Congress by providing our velour fabric, Dekoma Charles, for the official carrier bags. The floral motif featured in the poster advertising the event, designed by a Poznań-based illustrator, Franciszka Kujawska, has been digitally printed onto the fabric. Only 500 bags will be distributed, which makes each of them truly unique.
Non-Congress of Cultural Animators is an extraordinary event, attracting not only animators and teachers but also local authorities and activists. One of the premises for the Non-Congress is that cultural animation can achieve its priority goals, bring communities together, stir the conscious participation in culture, and contribute to the implementation of urban revitalization policies only in cooperation with local government institutions.
Local Government’s Charter of Culture, a document concluding the workshops and talks, will be signed during the Non-Congress. The purpose of the document is to define the rules of cooperation between cultural animators and local government institutions, highlighting mutual benefits stemming from the collaboration.
The event is organised by the ZAMEK Culture Centre, City of Poznań and with support of Forum Kraków.
